Yesterday I was doing some random indexing an came across this interesting memorial of a deed Volume 319 page 19 Memorial 209262:
https://irishdeedsindex.net/transcriptions/index.php?action=search&memorial=209262
The memorial formalises the partnership between Michael Mills and Thomas McDaniel for running the Hibernian Journal: or, Chronicle of Liberty on an ongoing basis and it gives the names of the original owners and the start date of the publication.
According to the National Library of Ireland, it was extant from 1771 to 1821. See their catalogue entry: https://catalogue.nli.ie/Record/vtls000381170
In the Dublin directory on 1775 on the irishancestors.ie website, Michael Mills appears as a printer whereas there is a Thomas Mc Daniel who is a taylor.
This goes to show that the tremendous value of the records in the Registry of Deed goes well beyond family and local history and can give valuable insights to the social history of Ireland.
