Thanks again to our wonderful volunteers we now have 604,057 index records from 62,284 memorials of deeds in our main database. All these records and those in our other databases are fully searchable at: https://irishdeedsindex.net/search/search.php
The highlighted memorial is https://irishdeedsindex.net/mem.php?memorial=183615230
It is a marriage settlement and mentions three generations of the LEONARD family. The bride and groom who married in 1836 are Margaret COOTE and John Bunbury LEONARD. His parents are John LEONARD and Carolinea ADAMS who married in 1811. John's parents are John and Deborah LEONARD.
A little searching on FindMyPast and British Newspaper Archives turns up additional information Margaret (nee COOTE) LEONARD married secondly before 1865 with someone TENNANT. Checking the civil registration records we find the marriage of Margaret (nee COOTE) LEONARD and William George TENNANT in 1860. These provide the additional information that Margaret's father was Thomas COOTE. My gleanings of records relating to the COOTE family indicate the Margaret COOTE's mother was likely to be Margaret BOYLE. This would point to person D in this memorial was probably Maxwell James BOYLE not BOYD.
All this shows the power of the information in the Registry of Deeds and how it can provide linkage to other data.
