Some fantastic work by one of our volunteers has added another over 22,000 entries to the transcriptions of the townland indexes. We thank Don for this great work. He has now completed the 1708-1729 townland indexes for the province of Ulster. A example of the result of this work is shown by the image of the first page of the County Cavan book. You can see the result by searching for the first mentioned townland, Agheteduffe. As the database is searchable is save so much time rather than going page by page in the index books.
Anyone can contribute to these transcription or indexing of the memorial transcription books.
